FREE ONLINE SURVIVAL GAME
A small bee. A whole world to survive.
Aerovora is a free online game you play directly in your browser. Fly through an original wetland of shell observatories, find the foods your animal can eat, avoid bigger predators, and evolve into new animals. Share the world with other players and AI wildlife.
Play Aerovora freeNo download or account is required. A desktop browser with high-performance graphics hardware must pass the Ultra graphics test before play.
Eat, fly, and evolve
Start as a honeybee. The Forage guide bar lists your current foods and changes after evolution. Food items include flowers, dew pearls, glowseeds, strawberries, amber resin, seed pods, worms, eggs, loam truffles, kelp pods, meat, sun bulbs, and flies. Only foods your current animal can eat get a green outline. Other items stay unoutlined and cannot be collected by that form. Plants and canopy forage stay attached; other foods appear on the ground or near appropriate feeding areas. Eaten food regrows at its original site. Red outlines identify predators that can eat you. Amber outlines identify rivals at your own tier. Touch smaller prey to bite, or use a directional strike. Smaller animals cannot damage larger predators.
Fill your growth to 80, 240, 600, 1200, and 2200 to reach six stages. Your creature glows, then transforms automatically wherever you are, including during flight. No tree or upgrade station is required.
Choose your animal branch
- Gale: Honeybee → Dragonfly → Peregrine Falcon → Golden Eagle → Suncrest Kite → Zephyr Ray. A fast branch with a short Slipstream dash.
- Bramble: Honeybee → Ladybird Beetle → Rhinoceros Beetle → Stag Beetle → Orchid Mantis → Prismback Titan. A tougher branch with Shell Guard.
- Veil: Honeybee → Moon Moth → Long-eared Bat → Barn Owl → Dusk Glider → Aurora Medusa. An evasive branch with Night Veil.
Press 1, 2, or 3 before the first evolution to choose your branch. The world has no victory ending. After death, respawn free as a Honeybee or spend five diamonds to keep your form and growth. Earn one diamond per 250 food points. Diamonds persist in your guest profile; use your private shop recovery code to restore that profile elsewhere. Diamonds are not currently sold.

Ground, sky, and water
The world uses a straight side view and level dry ground. The shared world keeps running while your menu is open, so other players can still attack you. End run to leave. Release the flight controls to fall and land on grass. Animals share the same passive gravity. Stone walls and a ceiling enclose the world. Lakes have solid beds, but staying underwater drains a 12-second air supply. Rise to the surface to refill it. White clouds labeled CLOUD COVER let you hide from distant animals. The first is directly above the starting trees. A Hidden in cloud indicator confirms cover; enemies within six world units can still spot and attack you. Cloud markers also appear on the minimap.
Can I play without a powerful GPU?
This version uses an Ultra-only WebGL renderer with high-resolution original wetland artwork, cel-shaded animals, animated wings, and floating-point postprocessing. Hardware-accelerated WebGL 2 and floating-point render targets are required. The graphics test checks actual rendering capacity before allowing play; there is no low-graphics mode.
Is it free? Is it multiplayer?
Aerovora is currently free to play, with optional cosmetic skins. Free skins can be equipped in Skins & shop. The one-time Founder Skins pack contains three cosmetic colors with identical gameplay stats. The Founder Skins pack costs $1.00 USD through secure Stripe checkout. Guest purchases use a server profile, and a private recovery code restores skins on another device. The live game uses a shared multiplayer world: other visitors can see you, compete for the same food, fight, and evolve. The start screen previews the real shared world without creating an animal. It follows active players, or clearly labeled AI wildlife when nobody is playing. Enter a name before joining. Everyone currently joins valley-1, with a maximum of 32 player connections. AI wildlife is labeled BOT; the online list counts human connections. Play as a guest; optional Google account sign-in is being connected. Best scores and sound settings stay in your browser. Multiplayer works for guests. Runs and world progress are currently in-memory and reset when the multiplayer service restarts. Closing a tab removes your animal; rejoining starts a new run.
